We drop in on an early morning baking session with Mary Oertel,
co-founder of locally made Ma Snax Superior Treats, the baked goodies
canines flip over—widely distributed in markets and specialty pet stores.
Mary Ellen and her partner Ray Masnack, both professional chefs, started
baking dog treats in 2005 when they adopted a Staffordshire Terrier puppy
named Penny.

We hitch a ride with Certified Animal Massage Therapist Andrea Kern when she chauffeurs 13-year-old Lucy to her twice weekly hydro therapy session at Animal Care Center in Rohnert Park. You'll meet Veterinary Rehab Technician Juli Dell'era who puts the German Shorthaired Pointer through the work out while Andrea guides Lucy in the water. Lucy's mom and co-owner of Sonoma Dog Camp Sue Simon shares how the therapy is helping Lucy gain strength and mobility.
